July 2010

Ya it's me Todd, I'm still alive

Hope everyone is doing well, It's been wide open at work, lots of new projects in the mix. I want to put out a special thanks to all our customers. We really appreciate your business here at Sonny's. On the engine front, The pro mod engines have really taken off, with Rickie Smith, Dennis Radford, Troy Coughlin, Rod Pearce, Billy Harper, and Pat Musi to name a few, running the Sonny's new 864 and 903 Pro Mod engines, and lately we have been converting them over to EFI, which is pretty neat stuff. And speaking of EFI, the 713 I currently run in comp is getting fitted as we speak with EFI, so i'm excited to try and improve on our National E.T.(6.52) and Speed Record (214+) we set earlier this year in A/AA. I haven't run as much this year so far, because the shops been so busy, but I am looking forward to Indy and few more points races this season. The weather in Virginia has been outstanding, and it's a great place to live. One of the new exciting engine combinations we put together lately is a 940 c.i. pump gas street engine. Running on 89 octane unleaded fuel, (yes 89 octane, no joke) it rocked the world with 1710 HP @ 6700 RPM and over 1350 ft. lbs of torque. How's that for a daily driver!!!!!! This is the customers 4th street engine he's purchased for his fleet of pro street cars, and is fitting an additional 3 more cars with his big cubic inch pump gas engines. He drives them daily to work, and loves them. It's pretty cool stuff, enclosed is a pic of the EFI 940 pump gas engine. Well it's about that time,so good luck to everyone this race season, and be safe. Well back to work I go. talk to you soon,

December 2009

Sorry I haven't got my blog updated sooner, but it's been crazy at work.

I want to first give a big kudos out to the guys at the shop here at Sonny's!
Sonny's had a great 2009 season. John Monticalvo won the IHRA World Championsip, Troy Coughlin won the NMCA World Championship, set a new low e.t. national record also, John Coughlin won the T/D Div.2 Championship, Mike Coughlin won the T/S Div. 2 Championship, Dean Goforth set a new National Record in ADRL Extreme Pro Stock, Frank Tamez being the quickest naturally aspirated door car with an automatic trans running 6.33 @ 221 MPH, just to name a few accomplishments that the shop turned out in 2009. It was exciting to see all of that happen!

2010 looks to be just as exciting and busy. The shop here at Sonny's is Wide Open, and with this current economy, we are fortunate it's so busy. At last count we have close to 50 engines going right now, betweeen new and freshen up's, and more rolling in everyday. The new 5.3 bore space wedge 864 Pro Mod engine Sonny developed has taking off like a wild fire, we have been getting quite a few orders for this engine, I took an order for 2 of these last week for Troy Coughlin and the Jeg's team. He will be teaming up with another one of our customers Rickie Smith, who last weekend recorded a 5.903 @ 240.70 during testing in Florida with his Sonny's 864. Troy will be running the 10 race NHRA Pro Mod series also, along with a few ADRL races. We also were fortunate to have Dennis Radford jump on board, where he recorded a 5.92 @ 237 MPH on only his 3rd pass with his new Sonny's 864. Terriffic job guys!!

As far as my racing program, I have got my lil 713 back at the shop, giving it a freshen up, and looking to find more power,( I love that part!) and after being here for about 8 months, I have no doubt we will. Sonny is a genius with these engines, everyday I just shake my head watching these engines on the dyno picking up more and more power! I am absorbing as much info as I can, learning everyday about these engines, and I couldn't ask for a better teacher. He has taken me under his wings, and taught me alot about making horsepower. Trust me ,it is amazing to say the least! On the 713 we managed to run a stout 6.466 @ 216.55 in A/AA which crushed the A/AA National Record,(6.57 @ 209) but we couldn't back it up, due to rain outs, and carb issues,(which I finally have resolved) but i'm ready to officially try to set the record if all goes well the first of the 2010 season, then I will also start running some Top Sportsman at the NHRA National events, starting in Charlotte at the Z Max facility, and eventually do some testing with a new Sonny's 892, that was built for all out Top Sportsman racing!, that should be fun also!!

I was excited to hear about the National Events taking on T/S and T/D, it should make for an exciting year! I have been getting a lot of calls about customers stepping up, to make sure they have more than enough power to make the 32 car fields, so i'm excited about selling more engines!

That's about all the latest news over here in Virginia, other than I woke up to 14 inches of snow this morning, which I was told it really never snows in Virginia, (it follows me everywhere)
Well, I want to wish all of you, a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. I hope Santa makes all your wishes come true , and everybody has a safe and prosperous 2010 !!

July 28, 2009

Well I just got back from my first ADRL event in Virginia, and WOW, is it impressive!! I got to see some friends I haven't seen for a few months, and they are all doing great.

I have to admit I was kind of skeptical about watching 1/8 mile racing, but after being there, it is wild racing to say the least. I'm a big fan of the heads up racing, and to see all the different types of engine applications for the 10.5 tire Outlaw class was amazing. Seeing Billy Glidden running with his small block ford on nitrous, or a 526 blown alcohol 3500hp high gear only 67 camaro, just to name a few, it was really cool! It's amazing what kind of power those little 10.5 tires will withstand, and hooking up with 3500 hp in some applications was downright Bitchin!! Running 4.0's in the 1/8th at over 197mph is remarkable! The Extreme Pro Stock was also way cool, they all run so close, and seeing all the Sonny powered Pro Stockers was of course, my favorite! After attending that race, I'm seriously re-thinking my plans for the remainder of the year, and might race a few 10.5 events after I get the new engine dialed in for A/AA in Comp Eliminator. I think a lil nitrous on my 713 would make it real competitive in the 10.5 tire class, and I love a challenge, but i'll see how she runs on motor first, but my brains a ticking...........
On a seperate note, I also want to give congratulations to Kurtis Tamez for winning the first time out with his 10.5 outlaw car running a new Sonny's 673 lil powerhouse, running in the 6 second zone at over 198 mph with the lil tires in Mission BC last weekend, he got his Wally, and I know it was special to Kurtis and his dad Frank, as they lost there Great Dane, Daisy last week to cancer, and they were on a mission to win that race for her! Way to go guys!
Well I hope to see some of you at Indy, I plan on running down there later this year, talk to you guys soon!

Todd

Update June 17, 2009..........Well it's June 17th and all is great here at Sonny's. It's been real busy, and I want to say thanks to all my customers that have followed me here. I really appreciate it. Today should be a pretty exciting day, The Inside Drag Racing Televison show is coming to Sonny's today, to do a complete half hour show on the shop, and some of the components that are sold here, it should be pretty cool. They are supposed to be filming all day long, with the finished product to be on TV July 19th, 20th, and a few other dates, on the Fox Sports channel. We also have Craig Olson's new 762 Hemi on the dyno today, and the filming crew will be recording a dyno pull or two today. It should be on the show also!
My new 713 c.i. 5.300 bore space engine is slated to be done around July 15th. I've enclosed a few picks of the heads and block, and I must say, if it runs half as good as it looks, we should be in good shape!
The family has fell in love with Virginia, they love the area, and the scenery here is beautiful, lots of kids in our neighborhood, everyone is real friendly, so there having a great time.
I missed seeing everyone at the Spokane Divisional, but it sounds like everyone had a great time, and it sounds like the track was in great shape. It was great to hear Mike Strickland won T/S, he is a great guy, and has worked hard to get his first wally, congrats once again Mike!!
Well, that's about all the updates I have for now, hope everyone takes care,

Todd

Update May 27, 2009.....May 26th,

I hope everyone is doing well, I thought I would get everyone up to speed on the latest news. I have officially moved over to Virginia,(at Sonny's) after a 3 day 40 hr drive, hauling the race car, the family, our 2 dogs, our african grey bird, we made it, the only thing missing was the mother in law strapped to the top of the motorhome( lol). I felt like I was in a Chevy Chase movie. I'm glad the world driving tour is over, I'll tell you that! and speaking of driving,
Frank Tamez is the ultimate " I can cross the United States in 24 hrs" driver, he can drive across the US in about a day,(lol) the guys an animal! I think he gets there faster than a plane( lol) He needs no sleep.
I will say during my trip, I was keeping up to speed on all the "rotate the earth times" up in Mission, and to say I was happy for Terry Spargo, was a HUGE understatement, I was so happy to hear how fast he was running, when he turns the wick up a little on that thing, he's going to take those comp guys for ride on the wild side in A/AP (lol) , great job Terry!
Well it's back to work here at Sonny's, It's time to go watch the boys make some pulls on these 900 inchers,( I know it's rough, but somebody's got to do it) lol.
If I can help anyone with engines, parts, racepak, converters, tranny's, electronics, or pretty much any racing items, please give me a call, 509-710-6544

Talk to you soon, Todd

April 29, 2009.......... I've been down here working away at Sonny's shop the last few weeks, kind of in transition mode, hoping to have the family here with me permanent around the 25th or so of May if all goes well. It's been very busy, and time has been flying, I looked at the calender and it's a day before my mom turns the big "60", and i'm sure she's not going to be bragging about that anytime soon, lol, but I hope she has a wonderful day tomorrow, She's been an incredible mom, and I always value and appreciate everythings she's done for us kids over the years growing up, I love you mom....
As far as the racing stuff goes, just got back from Rockingham, to meet some of Sonny's clients, down at the IHRA Spring Nationals, and I had a great time. The pro stockers were my favorite of course, and pro mods weren't to shabby either! Sonny had a great weekend, his engine qualified #1 in Pro stock with John Monticalvo, who by the way is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and one of his other customers won the event, Cary Goforth, so it was exciting to say the least to see him win, The Goforths are a great bunch of guys, I met them last year down at Jerry Haas's shop, and they are a bunch of hard working blue collar boys!! Congrats!!
On the business side, I want to put out a big thanks to Todd Fleck, and Don Wilkes, they gave me the go ahead, and we started ordering parts for there new Sonny's All Aluminum 673 c.i. 5 inch bore center engine. This is one of Sonny's new combinations, that's got all the goodies and best parts in it, from split dominators, to keyed lifters, GRP billet rods, Sonny Bryant crank, custom sheet metal intake, just to name a few of the parts in this Bad Bullet! This engine will make big power, and should make that car of there's run like a raped ape!!! Thanks again Todd and Don !!!!!!!
I've also got Todd Fleck on an engine parts program with Sonny's engine kits, and other parts Sonny carries, so if anybody wants to go fast, please call Todd or myself, we can help you out. I know Todd does alot of engine upgrades, and misc parts. Sonny was looking at the market over there, and has heard nothing but good things about Todd and his business up there, he's excited to get his name up there in Canada, and he's got confidence that Todd will help him achieve that goal, so thanks again.
Well it's time to get back to work, trying to get Sonny's new website filled with new items, so you guys might want to take a look at it, if you get a chance, at www.sonnysracingengines.com take care, talk to you soon.

April 16, 2009...............Well I made it back home after a nice 18 hr drive from vegas, and now the fun really begins. I took the 707 out, and have it boxed up, ready to go to Terry Spargo's new home, I have to say i'm going to miss that engine, that babies a bad lil engine, it flat hauls the mail, but I know Terry will take good care of it and kick some butt in comp eliminator in A/AP with it, so Bob Marshall, watch out, lol...the Hemi is coming, there's a new canadian sheriff in town, named Terry Spargo... lol..

As far my new engine, I'm hoping to have it in the next 6- 8 weeks, but i'll be plenty busy in the meantime, so racing will have to take a back seat.

I have some great racing news, as some of you might have heard, I'm packing up ship, and heading to Virginia, I was offered a great job working for Sonny Leonard, I'll be in charge of sales, research and development on engine combinations, his internet website, and going to plenty of races, racing in comp, T/S, and maybe even a little IHRA pro stocking down the road. To say i'm excited is a big understatement. I went back there in between the vegas races to get my feet wet, and I was in heaven. I was totally in my element, and I am looking so forward to the move. I'm hoping to be there for good around May 1st, if all goes well, still looking for a house, which to put it mildly, is a pain...I think between the wife and I we have looked at over 40 houses, and are getting a little tired. Shops are virtually non existent down there, so we have accepted the fact, we are going to have to build a shop down the road, but finding a house is first priority,(at least that's what I'm telling the wife...lol..) I think the family is even more excited than I am, which is hard to believe, but I think we have all been wore out with all the snow(over 9 ft this year )

I will be taking all my parts accounts with me to Sonny's so to all my loyal customers, I thank you, and I will still be there to take care of all your racing needs, and more.

This facility that Sonny has is second to none, it is so organized, and clean, it's the ultimate shop. It has 2 dyno's, several 5 axis CNC machines, more trick stuff then I've ever been around. They build all there intakes in house, among many other things. I'm like a kid in a candy store!!
I'm hoping to sell lots of engines over here on the westcoast, to go along with Frank Tamez's world record setting 892 c.i. 5.300 engine, Rod Pearce's new 825c.i. 5.300 bore center Pro mod Engine, and Aaron Steinkey's new 632 engine, just to name a few.

I also want to say thanks to John Woods at Performance Auto. He has offered me a ride to drive his new IHRA pro stock Jerry Haas Cobalt. I am supposed to go testing next monday and tuesday, and race in the Rockingham race, but I don't know if I can make it for this one, with the move and all that's going on, but I want him to know I appreciate the opportunity. I am hoping that I can at least make the next race, if this one doesn't wotk out, but i'm excited to pull some levers again, and drive a 6.30-6.40 pro stock car, so I will keep you updated if it works out for this up coming race.

Well, thats about all the news I have for today, special thanks to Dean Murdoch for letting me be a part of this great website. I will keep everyone up to speed,

Todd

April 10th.. Well it's friday night, and our first day of racing is over for the second race in vegas, and i'm pretty pumped up about how the cars running. Were currently qualified # 1 in T/S after 2 sessions, and yeah.... no tire shake!! I'm hoping it continues tomorrow, we have 32 cars here so far, so it's pretty exciting, and there's a bunch of nice fast cars down here. i'll keep you all posted, and Terry, no more rain dances..

Update between Vegas 1 National and Vegas 1 Divisional......................April, 8, 2009 Well it's been an eventful past week, to say the least. I did my usual wonderful job in vegas at the national event and lit the big red eye in round 1 in comp eliminator. We shook the tires on q1, shook the tires on q2, took enough power away for 1st round elimination, that I figured my lawn mower would out 60ft. me, but I was bound and determined to get it down the track. I was working with Adam at Penske shocks, getting the new shocks dialed in, and the learning curve was a little bigger than we anticipated. Needless to say it went right down broadway, ran 62 under the index,in the heat of the day, which was worthless to say the least because of the redlight. That's when things got interesting. I found out after the run, that even if you redlight, you can still hit your index, which to me is one of, if not the dumbest rule i've ever heard of, so the class I run in, A/AA got a permanent .02 penalty. There just happened to be another racer who was running the same class that had a few choice words for me after the run, to let me know what he thought about that, and I told him I had no idea about that rule, so I was upset with myself for not knowing that rule. So for everyone out there that's running comp, be aware of the rule. I did ask several other comp racers if they knew about the rule, and to my surprise, only 1 out of the 5 other guys I asked, knew about that rule. Then I felt a little bit better, knowing I wasn't the only guy that didn't know... so pay attention to the rule book, I know I will ! At least next week I won't have to worry about it, because i'm going to run T/S at the points race next week. Since I sold the engine, I felt it would only be fair to Terry to take some power away, shift a little lower, and try not to work over his new engine. I know he's been putting his voo doo spell on me from canada to keep the run total down on the engine He's been doing his rain dance, and putting all those other canadian spells on me. I'm just kidding, Terry's a great guy, and has been gracious enough to let me race these 2 races I already had planned before he purchased the engine, so a big thanks goes out to Terry!!!

After the race, I serviced the car, and loaded up, left the rig at the track, and headed to Sonny Leonards to hang out at his shop for 3 days in between the races to see all the new goodies he's producing for 09, including my 709 engine he's got the parts on order for, I hope it runs as good as the engine Terry bought from me, because this lil 707 is an animal to say the least. I'm excited to see Terry go beat up on the boys in A/AP ! Go Terry !!!

thanks,
Todd

Update April 7, 2009

Couple shots form Vegas qualifying (courtesy Bob Johnson)

update in the next couple days

Update.....March 26, 2009..... Well its a week before I head down to Vegas to run the races down there. I'm so ready to get out of this weather again, this snow has taken a mental toll on me lately, and to say i'm excited to head to Vegas, is a major understatement.

It's been a busy few weeks, lots of guys ordering motors, parts, and racepak goodies for there cars.
I'm also in the process of having a Sonny's new generation 5.300 bore center 708c.i. engine built as we speak. It should make an extra 50-60 h.p. over the current engine, and speaking of the current engine I set a new National record with a few weeks ago, one of the good ol Canadians purchased it from me this week! Terry Spargo is the new owner (after the Vegas races) of my 707. I'm hoping Terry can set a new record in A/AP with this engine in his RJ race car! I know he's excited, and I know he will take good care of it. I'm excited for him! He's a great guy, and I appreciate all the business he's given me over the years. Thanks Terry!!! (note): Terry is planning one or two Comp events throughout the year.

Well, I hope everyone is doing good, and I hope to see some of you guys in Viva Las Vegas !!

On a seperate note, i'll have a major announcement in the coming weeks, so until then, take care,

March 8, 2009......480 rt............I've got some 'spaining to do!!!!!!!!

Just got back home after driving 9 hrs from Tucson to drop off the truck and trailer in Vegas, to leave it there until the Vegas Nationals and the Vegas divisional the following week, took a flight home to lick my wounds and regroup, and I have to say, just when I thought the little things were getting figured out with the new car, a little gremlin decided to appear for round 1, I qualified # 3 which put us .655 under the index and was a great race weekend at that point, set a new national record for A/AA in comp, all was good....and then.... In the first round of eliminations I didn't want to hit my index, so I took a bunch of timing out of the motor, and chipped the car down, added some weight, and headed to the line. Everything was great up to that point, I rolled in, lit the pre stage bulb, the competitor in the other lane did the same, I put on the stage bulb, engaged the transbrake, brought the motor up to 2500 rpm as I usually do, the other rig pulled in and staged, I the put my car to the deck, and thats when the bad news started, the car coughed to the point where it almost died, I had to lift totally off the gas, then re smash the pedal to the floor, only to see the engine stumble once more before it finally came up to the launch rpm, which by that time was .480 after the green light came on. Needless to say, I think my competition was already past the finish line, towed back to the pits, and had some lunch by the time my car made it off the line. It was that bad, and I couldn't believe it, but thats racing, and I went immediately back to the trailer, drilled out my squirters on the motor, fattened up the idle circuit air bleeds, and hopefully cured that mess, this motor can be shooting out raw fuel, but it won't be lean on the hit anymore, thats for sure!..The stat sheet doesn't show that, it just shows the driver (me) that I was a mile late on the tree, i know somedays I might red light or miss the tree a little, but this time, it was a little mechanical issue, that crushed my chances, thats my story, and i'm sticking to it.

March 2-6, 2009............A week in the life of Todd Hoerner racing and family...............

Well we had a great debut of the new car in Phoenix, but the driver ( me) did a lousy job driving. I red lit by .036 first round and blew a great opportunity to go some rounds, but that's why drag racing is such a great sport, anybody can win at any given point, and it just wasn't our day. I was so happy with the car, that I am even more motivated to head to the next event, and get more time on this full tree in comp eliminator, it's a steep learning curve, but I'm motivated big time.

We licked our wounds, serviced the car and my wife Nicole, and my lil one Kassidy packed up our stuff Sunday and we all headed to Tucson for the next division race in division 7, which luckily is only 110 miles down the road.

Since we've been here in Tucson, and we had a few days to relax, the family turned it into a little vacation. Nicole and Kassidy went and got a pedicure, I went and saw a shrink to get my head right on this comp eliminator full tree stuff ( just kidding). I've been just relaxing, getting caught up on paperwork from my business, taking orders on race parts for customers, and hanging out with our friends, went out to dinner at our favorite ribs restaurant " Daisy Mays", it's the best ribs you'll ever have, I highly recommend it if you ever head this way, delicious!
This week, we had to get caught up on getting all the laundry done, groceries, fuel, fresh water, wash the motorhome, the usual in between race stuff, also changed the rearend gears on the race car since Tucson is usually around 5000-5500 ft corrected elevation with no barometer, so the engines don't breath real good down here.

..............on the track

...........Thursday March 5, 2009
Well it's now Thursday, which is test and tune day, and I wanted to see how the car worked down here with no air, and to our surprise we ran back to back 6.75's at 205, which isn't too bad considering the elevation. I'm hopeful about qualifying good. I'll make some adjustments and turn her loose tomorrow.

............March 6, 2009
Well it's late Friday night, we made our 3 qualifying runs, and there were some high drama runs. Our first run was a 6.742@204 which qualified us 3rd, and it was also a new nhra national record in a/aa which was a really cool deal.. We had to back it up on our next run within 1 percent to have it official. This is where the drama unfolds. Steve Holloway, a racing buddy also runs in a/aa and is also here. He didn't make it down the track the first pass, so in session 2, he rips off a 6.73, and I run a 6.75, so now I officially have the record by backing up my 6.742, but Steve now can take the record from me by backing up his 6.73 run, so it comes down to our final qualifying session. I went back to the trailer, made wholesale changes to the car, like, another gear change, timing change, launch rpm change, changed jetting in the motor, just to name a few things. So I pulled up to the lanes and Steve was 1 car ahead of me in the lanes, so I could see how he did and hope I had enough to outrun him.
Steve goes up there and blisters the record with a 6.718@ 206, I thought to myself, " holy crap" I don't know if I can top that. I made a last second change and went for the jugular, changed the starting line rpm up another 200 rpm, to try to rotate the earth, and see if the car could hold it. It was my only shot.... I left the line, the car held, it stuck all the way down, and the next sound I heard was my wife in jubilation, telling me over the radio that we just ran 6.715@ 206 to take over the new national record by 3 thousandths of a second over Steve, which when nhra converts it with the correction factor made it a 6.53 @ 212 mph i believe. Now that's drag racing excitement at it's best in qualifying!! Steve congratulated me and we were both kinda stunned to say the least about how close that was.
Steve and I can both reset the record in the first round depending on weather conditions, but I don't think that will happen because we would both take a permanent cic penalty in our class, because it's in eliminations, not qualifying, and that would hurt us big time, at future races,so I feel pretty good about keeping the record at this point.
Well tomorrow is another big day, but tonight will sure be memorable to say the least , I will let you know how it all played out, good night.

Todd

February 28, 2009

at Phoenix... Firebird Raceway

..................My precious little 8 year old daughter and I made it to phoenix after a 1 1/2 day 24 hr trip, and let me tell you, the weather is beautiful compared to the 3 ft of snow and 20 degree weather we have had in Spokane, over the last few months, that's for sure. Kassidy my lil one is such a trooper. She loves the races and would rather drive 24 hrs than take a 3 hr plane ride, because she said, you only see clouds when your in the sky, but driving with daddy you see all the different states. ( pretty cute huh)

After getting to the track, I unloaded the new car, to give it, it's maiden voyage, and the car did not disappoint. On the first full pass it ran a 6.630 @ 211 mph, to say I was pleased was an understatement. Jerry Bickel built such a nice smooth race car, and with the big Sonny's hp the 707 ci ran flawless. I made a few slight changes to the car set up and engine tune up, and 2 passes later were qualified 6th so far with a 6.577 @ 212.03 in comp eliminator . We make our 3rd qualifying session today, so stay tuned, I'm going to get a little more agressive on the set up today to see if we can improve , but so far so good, take care.....Todd

Well it's Saturday Feb. 21st, and I've been getting ready to hit the road down to Phoenix and Tucson for the two NHRA Div. 7 races to start out the year, running in Comp Eliminator in A/AA.
I've had an extremely busy off season getting things lined up for the 09 season, and I first want to give a special thanks to Sonny Leonard, for all the power he produced, once again. I recently took possession of my new Jerry Bickel 09 Pontiac GXP, and as some of you know, I 've gone through a few cars in my day, but I have to say, this is the nicest car i've had to date. Jerry builds a beautiful car, and to my delight, came out 95lbs lighter than my Dodge Stratus, I ran last year, so I want to give Jerry a big thank you once again, and a special thanks to Jeff Hoskins for the gorgeous paint and body work!

I've got the car outfitted with a Sonny Leonard 707 c.i. semi hemi, which made a jaw dropping 1745 H.P. on the dyno. Sonny never ceases to amaze me on all the power he makes, he is constantly looking for Big Reliable H.P., which to his credit, he seems time and time again to succeed. I recently visited his shop, in Virginia, and I must tell you, it is first class and immaculate, he has all the state of the art equipment, several 5 axis CNC machines, multiple dynos, and many other amenities that get me grinning ear to ear! His 18 employees are all first class, very dedicated to there profession, his wife Francis and his daughter Kelly also work there, who were so nice, and made me feel right at home. I hightly recommend Sonny's for anybody needing a new engine, or just a freshen up, you won't be disappointed at the service or the price, he's very fair, and it is a family run business, which in this day and age seems to be far and few between! I also just happened to be selling all of his products for him, on the westcoast, so if anybody needs any info, or wants to go real Fast, give me a call!!
