December 30, 2009 Pro Mod and Super Stock Hemi Calendars are on the press (Top Alky Funny Car and DS are complete) Five different calendars ready for shipping. The last two below just completed. Three others further down. They are ready!!!!! Two of the most popular SpeedZone Calendars will be shipped next week. Priced at $12.95 for the Hemi and $8.95 for the Pro Mod. The Pro Mod calendar is a unique design for SpeedZone Magazine showcasing six top notch teams and every team is highlighted for two months. Their here!!!!, and the pricing is the best we have ever had! This year we know how tough the economy is. One of the calendars , The Top Alcohol one, we had a real tough time getting enough participants. So much trouble, we decided to only have 6 participants (had 9 guys commit), but deciding which 3 teams would get and extra month was too difficult, so we decided to have only six teams and all six teams got 2 months each. Yes I know you are saying that as a buyer we are not really getting our money's worth. Well you are for two reasons. 1. it is still a twelve month calendar with some great teams in it including 4 time World champ Bill Reichert. 2. We dropped the price BIG TIME, to reflect the missing teams. The price for the Top Alcohol calendar is $8.95. Almost half the price of last years version ($16.50). That's not all we did. With the tough times we decided to drop the prices of our other calendars as well, and they are full 12 team calendars. We dropped the price not just by a buck or so, we went lower by close to 25% less than our last years price. This year the Nostalgia Funny Car and Top Sportsman calendars are only 13.95 plus shipping. Last year they were 16.50 plus shipping. We went to our printers and held out for the best pricing we could get. They were hungry for business and they came back more aggressive than ever. You are getting the benefit. Yes $8.95 for the Top Alcohol calendar, and $12.95 for the Nostalgia Funny Car and Top Sportsman/Doorslammer calendars. Nostalgia Funny Car calendar. The fastest growing high end cars in drag racing, Close to 100 cars are across North America right now and it is growing every day. Body styles form the 60's through the early 80's highlight the Nostalgia Funny Car class. Nitro and Alcohol burning floppers running in the 5's and 6's at well over 200 mph.
Top Sportsman/Doorslammer calendar The other fast growing class in Drag Racing. Six, Seven and Eight second door cars, many capable of 200 mph. This class of cars is big everywhere and the NHRA just announced they will become a regular class at National events now and will be a part of the Jeg's Allstar race as well. Most of the cars in the calendar are West Coast based cars running in Division six and Seven and they is even a stand alone series (www.canadawestdoorslammers) where most of them run on a regular basis.
Top Alcohol Calendar This is the tenth year for producing a Top Alcohol calendar. But it was a tough one. Many teams are cutting back on their promotional budget, so we had to adapt. There are six great cars (4 TAD's and 2 TAFC's) this year, and we dropped the price big time to $8.95. Almost half the price of the last year few years, and it is still a 12 month calendar (what othere kind are there?)
